I want to remove Register a Colleague button for a specific opportunity

This feature is only available on our volunteering module.

Our register a colleague feature is a great way to get teams and team members to register each other to an opportunity in the marketplace. However we understand that certain activities have limited availability or have specific requirements that does not work with the register a colleague function.

For volunteering opportunities that you want employees to self-register only, the only button that appears above the dates and availability is I want to help as shown here.

 


Company Admin > Volunteering > Action > Manage Volunteering

In Add Volunteering Opportunity

By clicking on Actions then selecting create an opportunity with or without a template a window will appear

Scroll down to the tick box below. The default is both boxes are ticked and register a colleague feature is restricted to Employees only.

 

To remove the Register a Colleague button from the opportunity page untick the box, I would like to have Register a Colleague for this opportunity as shown below.

 

Then continue completing the rest of the fields and click Next.

In Edit Preview of an opportunity

If you decide to remove the Register a Colleague button after the opportunity has been created you can always go back into Edit Preview of the opportunity. You will see the same tick box on the left side of your screen in the Edit fields, it typically is located just below the Scheduling section.

To remove the Register a Colleague button from the opportunity page untick the box, I would like to have Register a Colleague for this opportunity as shown below.

Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Save. This will update the opportunity to remove the Register a Colleague button.
