How to Make a Donation of Behalf of an Employee
Depending on the needs of your program and the processes we have provided you with the ability to add donations on behalf of an employee.
If you have long term corporate partnership with a charity and policies supporting regular giving for new employees, it is a great way to opt in your new employees!
Company Admin > My Company > Employee Contributions
This is only available to Company Admins that have super administrator access.
Instructions
After clicking on Employee Contributions, you will see a list of employee names on your screen. Go to the search field to enter the employee name you are looking for and then click on the Manage Contributions button.
You will be re-directed to the following page:
Check the name and details of your employee you would like to donate on behalf of at the top of the page.
Ensure the Money Giving tab is selected.
Then, go to the Action button and click on it.
Select Add Donation on Behalf
A pop up will appear as seen below
Campaign and Charity
Select the charity and campaign the employee wishes to make a donation
The drop down menu
Donation amount
Enter the donation amount your employee wishes to make
Scheduled Date and Payment Method
Remember
Anonymous on public pages
Select the box if the employee wishes to make the donation anonymous
Share details with charity
Select the box if the employees donation has already been reviewed by the payroll team
When complete click Make donation button.
To edit existing donations that are Pending for an employee, click on All Statuses and select the Pending option in the drop down menu. This will filter the available pending donations for this employee. When you have found the right campaign, click on Edit button. The above pop up will appear and allow you to edit the details of that donation.
