Managing an employee's reward points

Manually add and remove reward points from an employee

Navigate to employee contributions (via switch view: company admin > employee contributions ) and search for the desired employee using the search bar

Then click on the “Manage contributions” button next to the desired employee and select the “Rewards” Tab, click on the action button and choose “Add / Remove reward points”

You can use the plus + and minus - buttons to adjust the employees reward points balance. Alternatively, you can type in the desired points you wish to add or minus from the balance prefixing minus amounts with the subtract sign. The revised points balance will display below the points number in the modal

Enter an update reason for audibility and select save

The rewards tab will store a ledger of rewards activity for employee. Admins can easily reference the employees available rewards balance and reconcile this balance with points activity recorded below.

Adjustment

Captured when points are manually removed from an employee by an admin. The submitted by field will capture the admin who completed the adjustment along with any update notes.

Gift

Presented when points are manually added to the employees reward points balance.

Earned Volunteering

Points are awarded to employees when they attended a reward enabled volunteering session. Points that are automatically assigned by the system will be noted by “system Auto-Marked” in the submitted by column. Team leaders and company admins can also mark an employee’s attendance manually. When this occurs, their name will be displayed in the “submitted by” column.

Reversal

Recorded when an employee who was previously marked as attended was moved to an ‘absent’ attendance status. In this case, points will be removed from the employee

Redeemed for item

Identifies the item that the employee has purchased from the rewards store and the number of points they used to redeem this item.
