1. Company Admin

1.1 Easier volunteering navigation from the volunteer dashboard

On the volunteering dashboard, admins have been provided with an actions menu associated with each volunteering session. The actions menu allows admins to quickly:

  • Edit an opportunity - click the pencil icon next to a session to access the edit opportunity page

  • View an opportunity as an employee - click the eye icon to see the opportunity detail page

1.2 Registrations page

Displays minimum and maximum volunteers required as a reference point

Reference to the team leader will be displayed after the session has concluded.

Volunteer Marketplace

1.3 Greater volunteering marketplace session visibility

All sessions will be visible on the marketplace unless the event they are associated with has ended or the events' visibility is adjusted. This means there will be more options visible on the marketplace.

2. Team Leaders

Additional functionality available to on the team leader attendance management page

2.1 Easier access to the attendance management page

  1. From the volunteering marketplace, choose a volunteering opportunity

  2. On the volunteering opportunity page, you will now see an view all attendees link

  3. Click on this link to access the attendance management page

Additional functions available on the attendance management page include:

  • Export registrations list to a csv/excel file

  • Add volunteers

  • Cancel volunteers (individually and in bulk)

2.3 Extended period for marking attendance

Marking attendance will be available to the team leader from the voluneering session start date. They will have 24 hours after the session concludes to mark attendance manually. After 24hours, the Catalyser system will auto-mark any unmarked registrations to attended. Team leaders can modify this attendance status (between attended and absent) any time after the event by accessing the attendance management page.

3. Employees

3.1 Allow employees to manage users they have registered

Employees that have completed a registration on behalf of others can continue to manage the volunteer registration. When they access the attendance management page, they will be able to see the other employees and public members they have registered. On this page they will be able to add volunteers and cancel users they have registered.

3.2 Clearer volunteer availability and feature callouts on marketplace sessions

Session cards have been updated to more clearly display when the session is full, the number of places available and the number of people currently on the waitlist. The session card also display the category associated with the volunteering, which is configurable by the company admin and can be used to highlight volunteering callouts to employees like ‘team volunteering' or ‘remote.'

3.3 Filter by causes in the volunteer marketplace

A Cause area filter has been added to marketplace, allowing employees to find volunteering in cause areas they’d like to support.
