I want to Link our charity's Stripe and/or PayPal Account
Complete the following steps to set up your Stripe and/or PayPal Accounts to start receiving debit or credit card donations from workplace giving donors.
Contact hello@catalyser.com to receive an email to set up your login details to the Charity Portal. If you have received one from our Partnerships team and the link has expired don’t worry just let us know and we can resend you a link.
The following steps will take a matter of minutes so please have ready the nominated Stripe or PayPal Account Login details. This also means if any person in your team is required to verify your email address on PayPal or Stripe.
If not already done, contact Catalyser to set up your login details for the Charity Admin Portal.
Then using those login details, log into the platform, and locate the Payment Information button on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on the icon.
Next, scroll down and locate the Link Stripe account or Link PayPal account.
To link your charity’s Stripe account, Click on the Link Stripe account button.
A window will pop open, Sign in with your Stripe login details.
Enter the charity’s Stripe login details and Click Continue. Select the Stripe account that you would like the donations to go to and complete the link by clicking on the button on the Connect my Stripe Account.
You will then be redirected back to the Catalyser platform. To check the status of the link to your Stripe account on the platform go to Status under Your Stripe Details. Then that’s it - you are all done and ready to accept debit or credit card donations through Stripe!
To link your charity’s PayPal account, Click on the Link PayPal account button.
A window will pop open, to begin the linking process
Enter the email address that is required to login to PayPal and your location then Click the Next button.
Next, Sign in with your PayPal login details.
PayPal will ask you to authorise PayPal to link and connect your nominated PayPal account with Catalyser. Review the information and Click Agree and Connect.
If all your PayPal account details are up to date you will automatically be redirected to our platform.
When you see our platform page again….That’s it, you are all done and ready to accept debit or credit card donations through PayPal!
Your Charity Profile will be used in our auto-generated tax receipts we highly recommend that you revie and complete those fields on Catalyser and also update your Charity’s bank account details in Payment Information this allows our Corporate Clients that have workplace payroll giving to transfer payroll donations to this nominated bank account.
If you have not been redirected to our platform it typically means that your charity account is not up to date and PayPal requires further verification from your charity. If this is the case then you will need to complete the information PayPal requests from your charity before they will complete the link to Catalyser platform. Please note further verification by PayPal could take up to a week or more and is outside the control of Catalyser.
