Volunteering Events

This term is the collective term we use to group opportunities (or activities) for your program where you run the event over a period, whether a day, a month, a quarter or annually. This period is customisable to suit your needs.

Tip: A range of our clients use events to run annual programs, adhoc and single day events.

Volunteering Opportunities

This term is what we use to call the activities you would like to set for your volunteer users. It is a sub-tier of a volunteering event. Opportunities will be visible in the marketplace by setting up an Opportunity Details Page.

Tip: You can create as many opportunities under one event, or you can choose to create one opportunity per event. It is up to you how you would like to manage your programs.

Volunteering Sessions

You may have more than one session for an opportunity by adding sessions when you set up the Opportunity Details Page. The marketplace is organised by volunteering sessions that have available places, with the top showing the latest opportunities available to future opportunities.
