Transactions are the smallest viewing level of activity. As an Administrator you can see every single transaction as well as filter and export them if needed.
To start you need to switch view from "Employee view" to "Company Admin" view.
- On the "Employee Home Page" click "Switch View" at the top of the screen
- Select “Company Admin” from drop down menu. You will be re-directed to the page below
- Make sure you have selected the “My Company” logo on the left hand side of the screen in the navigation tab
- Select “Transactions” logo.
- You will be re-directed to the page below
- From here you have 3 different types of reports you can access:
1.Money Giving
- To see all of the transaction related to "money giving" select "money giving" at the top of the page in the tab
- Under "Money Giving" you can see individual transactions that are of any monetary donation. Monetary donations can either be "One off giving", "Regular giving" or "Support a colleague" .
- One off giving can either be paid through your payroll or credit card while regular giving can only be paid on your payroll.
- The transaction is individually listed with all the required details surrounding the transaction, including who made the transaction, the amount, the receiving charity, type of support ect.
2.Seed Donation
- To see all of the transactions related to "seed donations" select "Seed donations" at the top of the page in the tab
- Seed donation = companies make contributions to charities off platform but want to be recorded. This could be through a direct transfer - not done through the catalyser platform.
- A seed donation is a transaction that is not made on the catalyser platform but rather through another platform e.g direct transfer. If this donation was to be recorded then this is where it would appear.
- The transactions are individually listed with all the required details surrounding the transaction, including the campaign, the date the transaction was made, the seed amount and the type of giving ect.
3.Time Giving
- To see individual transactions concerning time giving click on "time giving" at the top of the page in the tab
- Time giving shows the individual hours of employees who have volunteered either through Bro bono/skilled volunteering or through regular volunteering.
- The transactions are individually listed with all the required details surrounding the transaction including the date of volunteering, the type of volunteering, the opportunity they volunteered ect.
Filters
1.Money Giving
- Each type of transaction has differing filters to which you can filter results.
- Money giving filters are shown below
- You can filter on the paid dates of transactions (for money giving)
- You can also filter on various other filters including employee types, campaign types, email, employee id, charity or campaigns.
- If you need more filters, you can click on the “More filters” button. These extra filters include payroll cycles of the employee, their business units, the pay methods and the offices

A great way to collate information throughout your program is to head to Transactions.

When you click on Transactions, the Money Giving tab will appear if you have any modules linked to donations. To select Time Giving, click on the tab. Use the filters to find the transaction period. Click More filters for more options.

You will see Paid transactions as default display. To see Pending transactions, click on Paid and select Pending option.

Time Giving
You will see Registered transactions as default display. To see Waitlisted/EOI transactions, click on Registered and select Waitlisted/EOI option.

2.Seed donations
- For seed donations you can filter results by using the filter tab below
- Simply click and enter in the preferred information including
- The dates of the seed donation
- The campaign type in which the donation was made
- You can also search the charity or campaign in the search bar if required

- For time giving you can filter results by using the filter tab below
- Simply click and enter the preferred information including
- the dates of the volunteering
- the business in which the volunteering was completed at
- the office of the employee who volunteered
- the employee type and campaign type
- You can also search the charity or email of the employee in the search bar if required

After you have either filtered or searched and found the correct transactions you can export these details into an Excel
